Resumen de Special report: : Ukraine - No place for lawyers?
The article discusses lawyers and the legal profession in Ukraine in the wake of a crisis in the region after pro-Russian separatists seized control of several government buildings in eastern Ukraine in April 2013. According to the article, decisions made by the Supreme Court of Ukraine have been ignored in Crimea, Ukraine which has taken on its own rule of law. International law, Russian law, and the civil and criminal legal problems that law firms and companies face in Ukraine are examined.
