    En el marco de las relaciones y conflictos suscitados en torno a la bahía de Pasaia, siempre se han mencionado las disputas mantenidas por San Sebastián contra Errenteria, Hondarribia, Pasai Donibane o Lezo. Son pocas las investigaciones que han incidido en la comunidad pasaitarra de San Pedro a fines de la Edad Media. Sin embargo, ella protagonizó un importante pleito contra San Sebastián a fines del siglo XV, originado por las duras condiciones que la villa impuso a esa comunidad, impidiendo su desarrollo y limitando sus actividades. A través de los párrafos siguientes, intentaremos trazar las principales líneas.

    As part of the relations and conflicts that arose around the Bay of Pasaia, mention has always been made of the disputes between San Sebastián and Errenteria, Hondarribia, Pasai Donibane and Lezo. Until now, there has been little research work on the Pasaia community of San Pedro at the end of the Middle Ages. However, it took part in an important lawsuit against San Sebastián at the end of the 15th century due to the harsh conditions the town imposed on the community, preventing its development and limiting its activities. In the following paragraphs, we attempt to outline events.

    Pasaiako badiaren inguruan sortutako harreman eta liskarrak hainbatetan izan dira hizpide. Gehienetan Donostiak Errenteria, Hondarribia, Pasai Donibane edo Lezoren aurka izan zituen auziak aipatu dira. Gutxitan aztertu izan da Pasai San Pedrok Erdi Aro amaieran izan zuen papera. Alabaina, XV. mendearen amaieran, Pasai San Pedrok eta Donostiak auzi gogor bat izan zuten hiribilduak populazio horri ezarri zizkion baldintza gogorrak zirela eta, San Pedroren garapena eta ohiko jarduera galarazi eta mugatu egiten baitzuten.
