    Guzmán el Bueno fue ampliamente conocido en el siglo XV, por lo que sospechamos que el recuerdo de sus hazañas ya se había extendido en el siglo anterior e incluso durante su vida. Hacemos un breve estudio sobre el nacimiento y evolución del mito guzmaniano. Al igual que otros mitos (sean o no históricos) existe una extensa iconografía de Guzmán el Bueno, normalmente centrada en el sacrificio de su hijo en Tarifa. El asunto central de esta investigación trata sobre el mural de Guzmán el Bueno en el ayuntamiento viejo de Trujillo datado en el año 1584.

    Guzman el Bueno was widely known in the fifteenth century, so we suspect that his feats were well known in the previous century and even during his lifetime. We make a brief study on the birth and evolution of guzmaniano myth. Like other myths (historical or not) there is a vast iconography of Guzman the Good, usually centered on the sacrifice of his son in Tarifa. The central issue of this research is about the mural de Guzmán the Good in the old City Hall of Trujillo.
