    En el año 2005, con la creación en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid del GRUPO DE INVESTIGACIÓN EN VIVIENDA COLECTIVA, se trae a un primer plano la cuestión del alojamiento de masas como germen de ciudad, insistiendo en la importancia de la vivienda debido a sus premisas económicas, su valor cuantitativo y su trascendencia pública. A la hora de definir la metodología de investigación, apostamos por las misma exigencia de precisión, rigor y objetividad propia de las ciencias; aquélla en la que Levi-Montalcini se había especializado durante toda su vida: el corte. No hacemos sino continuar aquel fértil camino abierto por Ginzburg en el Stroikom, en que, sirviéndose del corte como instrumento de anticipación y verificación arquitectónica (herramienta del pensar y del análisis crítico aplicable a nuestro trabajo), logró los primeros avances reales de la vivienda colectiva.

    In 2005, with the creation of the RESEARCH GROUP IN COLLECTIVE HOUSING, is brought to the fore the issue of mass housing as germ of the city, stressing the importance of housing due to its economic premises, its quantitative value and public importance. When defining the research methodology, we focus on the same need for precision, rigor and objectivity of science itself, one in which LeviMontalcini had dedicated all his life: the cut. We are simply continuing this fruitful path opened by Ginzburg in the Stroikom, which, using the cut as an instrument of anticipation and architectural verification (tool of thought and critical analysis applicable to our work), he managed the first real progress in collective housing .
