Resumen de Perfil demográfico y utilización del programa de planificación familiar de mujeres que solicitan una interrupción voluntaria del embarazo

  El número de interrupciones voluntarias del embarazo (IVE) ha aumentado de forma muy importante en Andalucía en estos últimos años. Es importante conocer el impacto de la inmigración en esta realidad. Objetivos: Conocer la edad media y nacionalidad de las mujeres que solicitan una IVE en un centro de salud, y en qué porcentaje utilizaban el Programa de Planificación Familiar (PF). Método: estudio observacional descriptivo, accediendo al número de solicitudes registradas (n=37) en el primer trimestre de 2012 en el centro de salud “El Alamillo· (Sevilla), y a los datos de utilización del programa de PF. Resultados: La edad media fue ±29,8 años. El 61,38 % de las mujeres eran inmigrantes. Un 45,94% estaban incluidas en el programa de PF antes de decidir abortar, frente a un 51,35% que no lo estaban. Discusión: Los resultados cuestionan la efectividad del programa de PF y su adaptación a la realidad migratoria.

  The number of abortions has increased very significantly in Andalusia in recent years. It is important to know the impact of migration in this reality. Objectives: To determine the average age and nationality of women requesting an abortion in a health center of Primary Care, and what percentage were using the Family Planning Program (FP). Method: Descriptive observational study, accessing to the number of applications recorded (n = 37) in the first quarter of 2012 in the health center “El Alamillo” (Sevilla), and utilization data PF program.

  Results: The mean age was ±.29.8 years. 61.38% of women studied were immigrants. A 45.94% were included in the FP program before deciding to abort, compared to 51.35% who were not. Discussion: The results question the effectiveness of the FP program and its adaptation to the reality of migration.
