    El texto reflexiona sobre los antecedentes políticos y culturales de la dictadura de Salazar. Su lucha en contra de los principios políticos constitucionales y liberales democráticos se materializó con la recuperación del legado del pensamiento organicista y corporativo que tuvo diferentes exponentes, tanto a nivel portugués como internacional. Se subraya la importancia que tuvo el concepto de Estado en el pensamiento de Salazar y en la consiguiente configuración de la dictadura.

    The text reflects on the political and cultural background of the Salazar dictatorship. Its fight against the political, constitutional and liberal democratic principles materialize with the recovery of the legacy of the organizational and corporative thought that had different exponents in Portugal and internationally throughout the XIX century. It stressed the important role played by the concept of the State in the mind of Salazar and the consequent configuration of the dictatorship.
