  • In Spain there is an intermittent biographical tradition, conditioned by the major historical ruptures and lack of continuity. Currently there are many academic historians who join the fashion of writing historical biographies in Spain, but in reality those who have come to the genre as a consequence of a reflection of historiography are few.
