In his posthumous book, the historian from Madrid, Vicente Cacho, has gathered six pieces of work which analyze different aspects of Catalanism at the turn of the century. Cacho thought this was an essentially modern and regeneracionist movement. In more than 200 pages, the author expresses (among other things) the intergenerational leardship of Prat de la Riba, the modernist's project of cultural nationalism which was promoted by members of the Lliga Regionalista and the role of the intellectuals, as Joan Maragall, Josep Pijoan or Eugeni d'Ors.
