In her book «La Renaixensa», first Catalan publishing house, Carola Duran studies the importance of this platform as the main cultural enterprise in Catalonia during the nineteen Century. During its long life(1871-1920), «La Renaixensa» had developed many aspects as a journal, a cultural review, printer and publisher involved with the political and cultural program of Catalan nationalism.
