The recent book of the press historian Carme Ferré (Intel·lectualitat i cultura resistents. «Serra d’Or», 1959-1977) considers the irruption of a new intellectual generation in Catalan cultural life. She analyses the making and works of the journalists staff in the catholic review Serra d’Or during a critical period of Franco dictatorship: the sixties and seventies and in the first years of democratic transition.
