The Catalonian anarchist movement was very attentive to the youth protagonism which was attained by young people among the mass-society emergency in the between-war years. But in the thirties, the youth anarchist attraction was accompanied by lack of confidence of the youngs against the trade union’s discipline. The generalization of the cultural avant-garde debate was an important encouragement for the young anarchists’ reivindication about their leader’s role of the anti-bourgeois revolution. Some great examples of these aspects can be found in the youth afinity group formed to promote the periodical Ágora, which content also shows the great complexity of the Catalan anarchist cultural world.
