En el siguiente estudio se pretende delinear la recepción de Homero en el Humanismo y el Renacimiento desde Francesco Petrarca a Gonzalo Pérez, con el propósito de situar la versión castellana de la Odisea del secretario de Felipe II y padre de Antonio Pérez en el contexto europeo de ediciones y traducciones de los poemas homéricos.
The following study aims to outline the reception of Homer during Humanism and the Renaissance from Francesco Petrarca to Gonzalo Pérez in order to place the Castilian version of the Odyseey by the secretary of Felipe II and father of Antonio Pérez within the European context of the editions and translations of the Homeric poems.
