El inicio de la vida es el eje central de este trabajo. Analizando las teorías expuestas sobre este tema por diversos autores, la investigación busca definir el origen de la personalidad humana. Incluye un estudio de las presunciones de derecho que fijan el comienzo de la vida, en la legislación ecuatoriana, con miras a la protección de este derecho fundamental. Esboza además, las diversas contradicciones sobre este argumento halladas en nuestro cuerpo legal.

The focus of this paper is the beginning of life. Analyzing the theories expounded on this topic by various authors, the research seeks to define the origin of the human personality. The paper contains a study of the presumptions of law fixing the beginning of life, under Ecuadorian law, with a view to the protection of this fundamental right. Also outlines the various contradictions on this argument found in our body of law.
