Resumen de Modalidade e condicionalidade no português do brasil
This paper investigates the relation between modality and conditionality in brazilian portuguese. The analysis focused on conditional constructions drawn from spontaneous conversation, and it is argued thatspecific constructional frames indicate the force dynamics involved on the estabilishment of assertive and directive speech acts.
