Este artículo desarrolla una reflexión sobre el Régimen Militar y Civil que ocupó el poder en Brasil desde 1964 hasta 1985. Las entrevistas de historia de vida realizadas a los ex presos políticos, sometidos a torturas, constituyen una parte fundamental en la documentación investigado. Los periódicos y las revistas de la época 1964-1985 y los documentos oficiales del gobierno militar también fueron ampliamente investigados y contribuyeron a los análisis históricos de este artículo.

This paper develops a reflection on the Military and Civil Regime who held state power in Brazil from 1964 to 1985.'s Life story interviews conducted with former political prisoners, torture target, constituted a fundamental part in the researched documentation . Newspapers and magazines of the period from 1964 to 1985 and official documents of the military government were also extensively researched and contributed to the historical analyzes in this article.
