    Este artículo estudia 12 estelas cristianas, todas ellas inéditas –salvo una-, halladas en diversas localidades de la provincia de Burgos. Su característica común es servir de hito recordatorio de la existencia de una ermita ya desparecida. Según los libros de cuentas de las iglesias, la mayoría de ellas fueron labradas y colocadas durante la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII y principios del XIX, de ahí su tosquedad técnica y su sencillez decorativa.

    This article examines 12 Christian stelae, none of them published except one, located in different villages of the province of Burgos. Their common feature is to be a landmark reminder of the existence of a chapel already disappeared. According to the books of the churches, most of them were carved and placed in the second half of the 18th and early in the 19th centuries, hence its technic crudeness and decorative simplicity.

    Artikulu honek 12 lorratz kristau estudiatzen ditu, haiek guztiak argitaragabeak -bat ezean-, Burgoseko probintziako herri|eserleku desberdinetan aurkituta. Bere ezaugarri komuna|ohikoa jada ermita bateko esistentziako mugarri oroigarri bezala balio izatea da desantzekoa. Elizetako kontu liburuen arabera, haien gehiengoa landu zen eta XVIII mendeko bigarren erdian eta printzipioetan|hasieretan|jatorrietan zehar jarrita XIX, hortik bere laztasun teknikoa eta bere erraztasun apaingarria.
