• History and works of Jose Celestino Mutis (1732-1808) and his famous Royal Expedition to the New Granada kingdom (actually Venezuela). His findings in Quina species were exhaustive and scientifically perfect. In his history one cannot evade from the political problems related with the begginings of struggle for independence.
