  New challenges for the professional in a postmodern societyThe real choice of the human always resulted from use by humans in its decision of two apparently incompatible logics, logic of full using rationally the knowledge available for achieving concrete goals and the logic of lack which is expressed its requirement of a singular individual development, as discover a life that he could claim as his own.

  Postmodern society, by the imperialism of the digital on the analogic and the rejection of delay of satisfaction principle, tends to suppress the logic of the lack that accepts doubt and claims a singular destiny It thus deprives the individual of a major pillar of its identity anonymizing server and trivializing both his reports that his judgments.

  When serious deficiency of identity emerges from a total abandonment to the logic of full, it seems essential to create spaces where the aid applicant emerging momentarily from a collective spell, can reconnect with a singular destiny and its own identity. The method of floating objects seems to be a possibility of valuable response in expectation of a cultural evolution that rebalancing the relationship between these logics, both important to humans.

  Les vrais choix de l’humain ont toujours résulté de l’utilisation par l’homme dans ses prises de décision de deux logiques apparemment incompatibles, logique du plein utilisant rationnellement le savoir disponible pour atteindre des buts concrets et la logique du manque où s’exprime son exigence d’un développement individuel singulier, comme découvrir une vie qu’il pourrait réclamer comme sienne.

  La société postmoderne, par l’impérialisme du digital sur l’analogique et le rejet de principe de tout délai de satisfaction, tend à supprimer la logique du manque qui accepte le doute et revendique un destin singulier. Elle prive ainsi l’individu d’un pilier majeur de son identité en anonymisant et banalisant aussi bien ses rapports que ses jugements.

  Quand une carence d’identité grave émerge d’un abandon total à la logique du plein, il semble essentiel de créer des espaces où le demandeur d’aide, sortant momentanément d’un envoûtement collectif, pourra renouer avec un destin singulier et une identité propre. La méthode des objets flottants nous semble être une possibilité de réponse précieuse dans l’attente d’une évolution culturelle qui rééquilibrerait le rapport entre ces logiques, toutes deux importantes pour l’humain.
