  • Resumen
    • More than 50 % of peruvian population resolves their health problems with medicinal plants. The authors have classificated 35 medicinal plants following its depurative, curative {or supporting}, symptomatic and preventive properties in bronchial asthma. They used these plants in 100 patients with good results, that are exposed in graphics. Several species, like Desmodium mollicum, Schinus molle, Piperelongatum or Culcitium canescens are examples of traditional medicinal plants used only empirically without scientific studies of its pharmacological properties. Others, like allium sativum or Borago officinalis, are related to European traditional medicine.
