There are sorne difference between science and scientists, and scientist may use science to defend sorne kind of interests not strictely scientific, for example politic, econornic or personal interests. Science had to fight in the past against the intolerance from other ideologies. We need a new paradigm in science and in medicine; to build it the author proposes: recognition of pre-erninence of the whole, not of the part; objectivity; respect for the differences and the different (ills); recognition of the value of other models.
