Scientific progress and development of new technologies compel the bird of Bioethics Committees to clear up and resolve moral conflicts and new problems for our society.
This work is a well-researched study about this kind of committees, with a review of the historic process of its creation and expansion in USA, giving special attention to the legal aspects and the current situation in Spain. Function, composition, intervention, efficiency and working of Bioethics Committees, are different aspects examined here, and the basic ethics principies also.
The study is a careful analysis of the different aspects concemed to these Committees.
The author gives an useful list with advices to make a new one in hospitals.
