The HLA system is in the chromosone 6 of the human body and is similar to a biological identity card. It has 2 molecules subunits where in one of them we can find the particular antigen. Also is the basis of hystocompatibility in relation with transplantation rejection and the responsible of many hereditary diseases. Some HLA are relevant in the individual reaction to the antigens, including the vaccines. The B7 cut the vaccine benefit.
Individuals with this HLA antigen don't show any reaction to the vaccine. The secondary humoral answer is inhibited which explain that a variable percentage of population is not immunized by the vaccines.
