  • Resumen
    • Since the sixties, there is a constant criticism against the hegemonical model of biomedicine. The growing problem of side effects, budget and expenses on disease assistence instead of prevention is the same in capitalist countries than in socialist countries. Criticizers propase acupuncture, herbal remedies or ethnic medicine as valid systems in medicine. Several biologists refuse it as non scientific, but other ones recognize this deficiences. Medical practice is also a reproduction of other social patterns. Biologistm is useful in many problems, but its dominant position excludes frequently other applications that can be more useful than the official ones.
