In-water delivery can be very useful in reduction of analgesic medication, but we must "know-how" about conditions like water temperature and women's attitude. lt is of special significance to know the moment where the woman must go to the pool (usually after a 5 cm of cervical dilatation) because water inmersion causes a disminution of occitocine levels by a hearth mediated way, causing in several cases of premature bath a stopping of uterine contractions. Woman's attitude towards delivery is still a major factor in the application of pharmacologic measures against pain.
