  • In this work the authoress thinks about death and mouming from the health profession viewpoint, analyzing the different types of death --definitive death and partial deaths along the life- and the mechanism of mourning and its different phases, based on the s.urvival instinct.

    The social changes in our days are reflected in the attitude of population towards death and losses. Planing rightly the palliative cares in a terminal ill is very difficult, because the ill has normally difficulties to express his needs, or because his psichological state is very unpleasant. lt is required that the health professional enters in the personal sphere, and exercize his attitude to show his availability to the ill.
