La autorrelajación como medio para reducir la algestesia en pruebas diagnósticas dolorosas

    • It taked placed a study of painful perception and psico-emotional component in two groups of patients in a random selection.

      It was made bone marrow biopsy and iliac crest myelogram in the patients. In the control group the two tests were perceived as modera te or severely painful, and these patients experimented fear too. The patients of the experimental group received a session of hipnosis of fourty minutes; in this session were trained in autohipnosis technique to be applied in the moment of the painful tests. The comparison of outcomes shows a significative reduction of algesthesia and unpleasant emotions in the experimental group. The application of this technique was workable, effective and and inexpensive.
