  • Medical gymnastics seems reappearsince theeighties from a lethargy; this resorthad been excluded during a lotofdecacles. The first conception of medical gymnastics was essentially empirical, and had a global character. We find the most remole antecedent in the old China, and in the ancient Greece, with Hipocrates, was a part of the medical teachings, and a part of the philosophical conceptions; it was kepped so during the following centurys. Through the ages medical gymnastics is framed into a purelly mechanicist conception. When we arrive lo the middle of our century, we find it in an abandoned state in the medical protocols. In the eighties is revalorized as an importan curative method.
