  • Acupuncture and TCM are useful tools in modern socieies, where orthodox Medicine is full developed. It is specially true because there are many illnesses that do not resolve with conventional treatment, like chronic or psychosomatic diseases. Also, drugs can provoke allergic reactions. We can use TCM as a unique therapy, or also as complementary medicine. There is a wide variety of illnesses that can be treated with TCM, specially in Rheumatology, Neurology, Gynecology, and others. There are sorne instances that TCM and acupuncture can be a counterindication, these problems are usually realted to an inssufficient training of the therapist, but can be done also by an inssufficient Qi flow in the organism.
