All undergraduate chemical science students are invited to attend the Undergraduate Program at the ACS National Meeting in Salt Lake City on March 22–23, 2009. This educational and career-oriented program features symposia on nanotechnology, art conservation and archeological research, and careers in chemistry. Eminent scientist Luis A. Echegoyen will present "Buckyballs: From Basic Research to Nanotechnology", tracing the birth, innovation, and commercialization of the buckyball field. If graduate school is an option for the future or if you've already been accepted into graduate school for the coming academic year, be sure to attend the Graduate School Reality Check and graduate school networking events to meet and talk with graduate school recruiters.
All events will take place in the Salt Palace Convention Center, except for the Eminent Scientist Lecture and the Chemical Industry Networking Roundtable, which will be held in the Marriott Downtown.
