  • The article presents an analysis of the edition of the book "Arcadia," by Italian Renaissance author Jacopo Sannazaro, belonging to the Newberry Library, Chicago, Illinois. Topics addressed include its characteristics of a pastoral book, the work of Italian humanist Pietro Summonte on the edition, and the miniatures that illustrate the book.
