    El interés sobre la implantación de villae de época alto y bajoimperial en el municipio de Alcalá de Guadaira se ve acrecentado con el conocimiento derivado de las actividades arqueológicas para la obra SE-40, siendo documentadas estructuras pertenecientes a edificios caracterizados por su diversidad funcional y singularidad.

    The scientific knowledge of the villae from the Hidh and Late Roman Empire within the township of Alcalá de Guadaira is now increased with the archaeological research related with the SE-40 works. The preventive activities discovered remains of several structures, characterised by a variety of functions, as well as some singular features. The analysis of these buildings is the aim of this work.
