  • Resumen
    • The writer suggests that the patron of the Stockholm Pilgrim's Hours may have Jan de Trompes, who was also the patron of the Baptism Triptych by Gerard David. De Trompes's physical features as represented in the triptych seem to correspond with those of the patron of the Stockholm Pilgrim's Hours, and the fact that he had his family represented in the triptych is also consistent with the behavior of the patron of the book. One hesitation about this attribution, however, is that nine sons and eight daughters are depicted in the book's family portrait, whereas De Trompes is documented as having only four sons and six daughters.
