  • Resumen
    • The article explores the question of the productivity of early modern painters in the Low countries and the prices of their works via an examination of a studio notebook compiled by the 18th-century Belgian painter Maximiliaan de Hase. Known as a "Memorie boeck," or Memorandum book, the manuscript contains detailed information regarding the artist's activities and earnings. The author suggests that similar notebooks by other artists can provide important data regarding the early modern art market in the Low Countries.
