  • The article looks at various works by the 16th century Italian painter and architect Giorgio Vasari and the drawing techniques he employed. Particular focus is given to a drawing of a human head, discovered in the art collection of Italian sculptor Ranieri Bartolini, preserved in the Fraternita dei Laici in Arezzo, Italy. The involvement of Vasari and his assistants in the creation of the decorative frescoes for one of the halls in the Papal Chancellery in Rome, Italy is discussed.
