Resumen de Breve aproximación a la autoridad femenina en el S. XVIII: el extraño caso de Gregoria de Urbina

Los estudios sobre las mujeres en época moderna son relativamente escasos para el conjunto de los tres territorios. A fin de intentar enriquecer dicho déficit historiográfico, proponemos una breve reflexión sobre la autoridad femenina en el siglo XVIII. Mediante éste análisis esbozamos la apertura a nuevos planteamientos que contemplen a estas mujeres como partícipes de una historia hasta hoy incompleta.

Studies on women in the modern age are relatively scarce for the three territories of the Basque Country. In an attempt to fill this historiographic gap, we are proposing a brief look at feminine authority in the 18th century. Using this analysis, we outline how new approaches opened up that consider these women as taking part in an as-yet incomplete story.
