The aim of this article is to evaluate the entrepreneurship module offered in hospitality and tourism programs by institutions of higher learning in the United Arab Emirates. Some of the challenges faced by hospitality and tourism students and entrepreneurship educators are highlighted. The results show that hospitality and tourism students do not consider the entrepreneurship module to be an important subject within their program. This poses a number of challenges for institutions in terms of seeking to appropriately integrate entrepreneurship education within a program of study toward the entrepreneurial inclination of hospitality and tourism students. The article highlights the growing need to create an entrepreneurial culture that will encourage and foster greater initiative and entrepreneurial activity.
