  • The article discusses a c. 1368-1390 triptych by German Gothic painter Master Bertram depicting the Apocalypse, part of the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum (previously the South Kensington Museum) in London, England. The author describes German museum director Alfred Lichtwark's attribution of the triptych to Master Bertram and discusses debate about the triptych's subject. Also discussed is the conservation and dendrochronological dating of the triptych.
