  • The article discusses the abstract painting "Homage to Bill Brooker, c. 1963," also known as "c.May 1964 (Bill Brooker/Homage)," by the English painter Roger Hilton. It is noted that the large painting, second largest amongst Hilton's oeuvre, has rarely been exhibited, leading to many uncertainties regarding its creation. Based on existing documentation, the author asserts that the painting is almost entirely by Hilton, with only a minor contribution by his friend and fellow artist Bill Brooker.
