  • The article discusses the catalogue of Samuel Courtauld's art collection published by British art historian Douglas Cooper in 1954. It is noted that the catalogue was edited by Anthony Blunt, Director of the Courtauld Institute, and that Cooper received help from the art critic and theorist Clive Bell. The author notes that Cooper's catalogue entries include brief descriptions, followed by exhaustive lists of provenance, literature and exhibition history.
