  • The article discusses the discovery of a 20-page manuscript by 18th-century Venetian "veduta" painter Bernardo Bellotto. The author describes the manuscript as an inventory of Bellotto's belongings and discusses his career in Dresden, Germany. The author describes the contents of Bellotto's picture cabinet, which contained drawings by Bellotto as well as paintings by Venetian artists, and his library, which contained many illustrated books about art.
