  • The article discusses the 1919 painting “Small harbour scene,” by Swiss painter Paul Klee, which was authenticated by the Klee Foundation in 2009 and acquired by the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath, England in 2008. The author explores the technical composition of the painting and its integration of two older works by Klee. The author describes the provenance of the painting with owners including art critic Alfred Karl Mayer, collector Charlotte Haber, and her son Ludwig Fritz (Lutz) Haber.
