  • The article discusses the attribution of the 1670s altarpiece painting “The Purification of the Virgin” at the Berka Chapel in the Church of Our Lady in Stará Boleslav, Czech Republic to Roman painter Francesco Cozza. Topics addressed include the composition and figures of the painting, a small painting that is possibly a study for the altarpiece, and the decoration of the Stará Boleslav church and Berka family's chapel.
