En este trabajo analizo el sistema de represión de la dictadura franquistay sus resultados, identificando los mecanismos de penetración, perpetuación y naturalizaciónde su dominación e ideología a través de la familia de un represaliadopor el régimen, descifrando las causas y los efectos del silencio intergeneracional, losproblemas de comunicación y (falta de) transmisión de la memoria del represaliadoy de la violencia del sistema dictatorial, como también los miedos, las tensiones ylos conflictos que se generaron ante la ruptura del silenciamiento por parte de unode los nietos cuando se dispuso a averiguar sobre la vida y el destino de su abuelo.También analizo y describo las representaciones de cada uno de sus integrantes ysus transformaciones a medida que la búsqueda avanzaba y con ella aumentaba elconocimiento de la violencia represiva del régimen franquista.

In this paper I analyze the effects of the Franco dictatorship's system of repression and identify the mechanisms it used to inculcate, perpetuate and naturalize its domination and ideology. To do so, I study the family of a man who was persecuted by the regime, and decipher the causes and effects of intergenerational silence, the problems of communication and the (lack of ) transmission of the victim's memory and of the violence of the dictatorship. I also look at the fears, tensions and conflicts that were generated when this silence was broken by one of the victim's grandchildren as he tried to find out the truth about the life and fate of his grandfather. Furthermore, I analyze and describe the representations of each of the people involved and of how this changed as the grandson's search progressed and increased awareness of the Franco regime's violent repression.
