    El objetivo del presente artículo es revisar la interpretación dada por diversos autores contemporáneos sobre la función de mago o hechicero del chamán sámi de acuerdo a las fuentes tradicionales. El artículo se presenta dividido en tres secciones diferenciadas, comenzando por una introducción del papel y actividades del chamán en la comunidad sámi durante el período en el que fueron escritas las fuentes.

    The aim of this article was to review the interpretations offered by contemporary authors about the view of the Sámi shaman in order to deny his wizard or witch role based on the traditional sources. I have divided my dissertation in different sections starting by introducing the role and activities of the noaidi within the Sámi community during the centuries where the written sources come from; the womanshaman, in order to show the multiple contradictions found in the traditional sources; Magical practices:
