The writer addresses three issues relating to St Paul's Cathedral, London, in light of Andrew Geraghty's new catalog of Christopher Wren's drawings held at All Souls, Oxford. The issues are: the date of Wren's Definitive (now Revised) design with screen walls, a Michelangelesque dome and western chapels; the date of surviving images of this design; and the date of a revised but not final dome design lit by windows concealed from the floor-level observer.
