    La directiva de Defensa Nacional aprobada en julio de 2012 pretende definir los grandes objetivos de la defensa nacional en la presente Legislatura. A pesar del esfuerzo de reflexión y de adaptación al nuevo contexto internacional y la crisis económica, ni el nuevo contexto internacional ni la crisis económica constituyen en las reflexión el fundamento sólido necesario que habría de tener la directiva para tener credibilidad.

    The National Defence Directive adopted in July 2012 aims to define the main objectives of the Spanish national defence in this Legislature. Despite the effort of reflection and adaptation, mentioning the new international environment and the impact of economic crisis, these two factors are not fully developed in the theoretical reflection, thus not providing sufficient credibility to this Directive.
