  • The status of system administrators as experts is a stake as both technology and businesses evolve. To evolve in step, professionals need to become more business aware. In this article we summarize discussions on business alignment that took place at the LISA BDIM (Business Driven IT Management) workshops over the past two years, and we try to place them in a wider context. The out come points to some straightfoward tips to improve sysadmin business value.
