    Vamos a estudiar las tenerías islámicas de Granada, su localización y uso en época medieval y el debate surgido con la llegada de los Reyes Católicos por la prohibición de su permanencia dentro del recinto amurallado de la ciudad, y su regulación en los siglos XVI y XVII. Partimos del pleito sobre las tenerías de 1514 del Archivo de la Real Chancillería de Granada.

    We are going to study the Muslim tanneries in Granada, its location and use in the Medieval time’s, and the dispute risen due to the Reyes Católicos arrival, and the fact of not being allowed to stay whithin thewalls of the city, and its laws during the 16th and 17th Centuries. The study is based on the lawsuit over the tanneries in 1514, of the Real Chancillería Archive in Granada.
