  • The essay examines the the ways in which the physical transatlantic delivery of good and notions of artistic perceptual delivery influenced the work of Anglo-American painter John Singleton Copley. Particular emphasis is given to an analysis of his painting “Watson and the Shark.” The author also relates these concepts of delivery to Copley's involvement in the Boston Tea Party.
