    Este texto intenta ser un elogio a los oficios de la restauración artística y la antropología aplicada, reconociendo el parentesco de ambas como ciencias plenas, al aplicar un método que debe ser consustancial a la construcción  de un conocimiento en diálogo permanente con los sujetos sociales. Sostiene, como lo postuló Gadamer, que el entendimiento no depende de una regla o norma manipulada por el investigador, sino de recuperar los horizontes  interpretativos de los sujetos.

    This text aims to be a eulogy to the occupations of artistic restoration and applied anthropology, acknowledging the relation of both as plenary sciences, applying a method which must be consubstantial in the making of knowledge, constantly debating with social groups. The paper puts forward, as Gadamer once said, that the understanding does not lie in rules or norms manipulated by an investigator but recovers the interpretative horizons of subjects.
